Something bad happened the night before. My dad was hospitalised and had to undergo an operation and I was in the hospital with him all the while. Never slept. It really broke my heart to see him in that kind of situation.

Although it has nothing to do with me, but I felt very very guilty towards it. My heart really ached when I saw him in that situation, especially when I saw the photo. There is nothing I can do to help him and all I can do is stay by his side. It doesnt feel good when he had to wait 14 hours for the operation to begin after the accident happened. Throughout the whole night, I really felt very very guilty although it was a accident. And now here I am wanting to rant out how I feel.

Leave my family members alone.

It's been a long while since I last updated my blog.
Latest news: I just booked a trip with Rik to Bintan and we will be away 3d 2n from 4th July to 6th July! Booked a spa package consisting of a 75 minutes massage and shopping time too. Will be staying at Bintan Lagoon Resort (supposedly a 4* hotel but we will know whether this is the real case when we reached there). Total damage = $233 which is considered cheap for hotel + massage + shuttle bus to shopping area and back to our hotel. As two stingy cheapo people, I decided that I shall bring 3 cup noodles while Rik decided that he will be bringing bread as we discovered that one meal over at Bintan can cost up to SGD20-30 bucks. Gosh. I would rather eat cup noodles and use the money for the jet-ski!! Really really want to try it but Rik doesnt want to spend that much money on this.. cause' it's quite expensive. :(
I screwed up my Japanese exam paper. Dont wish to elaborate but I totally screwed it up. It's quite easy actually. Damn it.
Back to nothing-to-do-feel-so-bloated-and-useless at home days. Maybe I should go swimming in the morning everyday like what I used to do for the previous semester. No income = Bad mood.
Anyway, have you noticed that we have started to quarrel more often these days? Always over trivial matters like who scold who, your tone harsh or my tone harsh, you or me being easily irritated over small matters.. I hate it everytime this happens. Each time this happens, I feel the strain in our relationship.
There was a period of time where I felt the sweetness of our relationship. But like a flower, it withers off very fast. I wish we can quarrel less often over small minor matters. I wonder if it is because I am more sensitive now or it's because your temper has changed..
Even though this is not possible, but I still wish to say here - I wish I were being pampered.

On Sunday, I was invited by Rik/his mom to the Grand Gallery at the Ritz Carlton for a hi tea invitation in the ocassion of the Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay here in Singapore.
There was a bunch of Indian ladies wearing nice sarees at the Grand Gallery and they seem to be chitchatting. I think they are the rich tai tais. As I walked past them, I overheard one of the ladies conversation. "My son is 21 this year and he is studying law......"
Then it was time to welcome His Excellency (That's how the people there address him and he is from India). I was still munching on the delicious crunchy potato chips when he arrived. So I quickly stuffed it in and looked at him with a full mouth when he walked past. Damn paiseh.
Finally another person arrived with the Queen's Baton in his hands as he walked through the Grand Gallery. Everyone started clapping and so I did the same. We had thought the top of the Baton was supposed to have fire but we were wrong. In fact, the Baton was a high tech one. It has in built camera, and a GPS system that can capture smses. After listening to the speech, I then realised that this Queen's Baton Relay started out last year in October starting from London, and it will travel through 70 countries with the last stop being in India. And it is expected to end by Oct 2010 this year. Cool!
Hi-tea started. But the food was a little disappointing though. Anyway, the potato chips rocks!
After that, had dinner with Rik's relatives at Pho Hoa. Due to some reasons which I am lazy to explain here, the whole meal was free of charge. Hanged around and then they went to Starbucks to have some chit chatting session. I suddenly feel that kids are cute!
Anyway, the main point is apparently, someone felt that I am materialistic.. Well.. I dont feel like explaining this anymore.

I actually have many things to blog about here.
1) FYP Project

Many many problems to consider for the FYP Project that SP offered me. I have to take care of everything from finding professor to trivial stuffs such as finding the right and suitable equipments that is required for this project. And the best thing is, this project is totally not in my field. Now the prof who has the equipment is not replying my emails. I shall wait till tomorrow to see if there is any reply from him before I send another email out to him. Totally hate this kind of shit.

2) Blogshop

Received the samples via dhl from China manufacturer. Material wasnt what we really expect but still within the acceptable range. Just that it doesnt give us a WOW kind of feeling. There wasnt any lining and it feels cheap, since it is only just one piece of satin or chiffon. I then enquired about the lycra material which is thicker and more elastic but apparently they do not have it. This is one most important material that I would need. Out of the 10 samples they did, the ruffles romper was the nicest. Even my mum raved about the workmanship and design of that romper. Couldnt upload the photos here because something is wrong with my handphone and I cant seem to bluetooth. The champange gold dress was also very elegant, but the colour we had chosen was wrong. Tomorrow I will be meeting a Singapore based manufacturer to discuss more. Hopefully she is able to provide what I want. But it seems that their price is too high.

3) Bag

Received my bag via Korean Air a few days ago and I love it! :)

4) Japanese Classes

Special semester for me in school. Japanese! Everyday (except wednesday) I will have to go back school, and there's test everyday. But it's fun! Even told Marilyn that this is the first time I study until so happy. Even if there's test, Im also very happy. Yeaaah now I can converse in simple Jap!

5) Incident during train ride

I was waiting near the auto door at the platform at Jurong East MRT Station one day. The train arrived and when the door opened, a lady behind rushed in like mad and sit in this 2-seater seat. She was sitting in the middle of the two seats and using her hands to hog the other seat. I asked if she can excuse herself as she is hogging 2 seats. She stared right up at me and gestured for her bf to sit beside her. I then emphasized on the "Excuse me" again and she just stared at me. I should have just sat on her hand and hear her hand break but I didnt because if I were to touch her, then I am wrong first. Then she moved to the seat nearer to me and her bf sat down next to her. I then sat just right opposite her. She said this very loudly on the train right after I sat down (in a China tone - Yes China),"Who cares about her! I came first!"

Come to think of it, if I had not bother about spoiling my reputation or being brought to the police, I would her punch her right into her face. Now the sight of her look makes me boil. I then scolded her "IMPOLITE!" right across from my seat. Then I did the best thing - I took out my handphone and started to take photos of them throughout the train ride from JE to Admiralty. Right in front of them. The guy lowered his head throughout and the humji china woman turn and sit in the direction of her bf. Until they cannot tahan already they stand up and went to the other side of the train. Losers.

6) Pedicure

Finally did my pedicure! First time! If not for Brother's staff pass to enable us for a discount of 35%, I wouldnt even have gone there for a pedicure because it's so expensive! Went to Icon Village for pedi and it was nice! The place was comfortable and cosy. Now my nails are very girlish - pink base. Even dear says finally he feels as if he is walking with a girl. Hahha.

7) Future Plans

One day I was at dear's place and we played drinking games. He lost like mad and kept downing the absolute vodka in half shots. Because he wasnt a very good drinker to start with, he was a little drunk by the end of the game whereas I was still very sober because I had not lost many games. Then he sent me down to take a cab back home. While I was in the cab, I received a sms from him and immediatedly I beamed with a bright smile. The sms was, "Let's apply for a HDB". Then we began to discuss a little further on the areas we want via sms. After which he said he was tired and then he went to sleep.

The next day, I called him and told him that I have checked out the HDB website and right now, only Punggol is open for bid. His reply was, "Huh? Why you suddenly talk to me about HDB?" My immediate reply was, "Oh ok forget it. You must be drunk yesterday and you forgot what you said." HAHAHAA. Felt very ridiculous after that. Then when I met up with him in the afternoon, he said we can always go apply first since we only need to pay the registration fee. Bloody dear luckily you said that, if not I sure squaSh you.

I want to stay near my parents. I dont like Queenstown area. Checked up on Design, Build and Sell Scheme flats and I loved it a lot a lot. The pinnacle was one of them located in Tanjong Pagar. There's also Nature Loft in Bishan and The Peak in Toa Payoh. Damn nice. But expensive. Given the price of a 4 room DBSS Flat, it is equivalent to the price of a condo.

Weeee start planning!! So happy and anticipating for the future! :)

Papers not very hard = Not easy to score = Easy to get C = Pull down GPA
So demoralising.
Anyways, I am here to root for Rikki! I believe you can make it there! SOO anxious for you! This week this week!

I am sorry.

What you told me makes sense and are facts. I felt like I had a bad personality.

I should disappear myself from the world.

So in love with stuffs!

Shit I think I am very much infatuated with bags now! I was browsing online and I came along this bag from Aldo sold on its own online store and I love it the moment I set my eyes on it!

Plus the price is very affordable! But soon I realised that they only do shipping within US and Canada. AHHHhhhH! Damn it. Now I want to go Aldo stores and check out if they sell the bag here.

RIKKI, can help me ask your aunt in US to buy and ship over? =PP

Oh my plus another favorite now! Agnes b wallets!! I saw one authentic metallic pink wallet at one of the Agnes b outlets the other time in town and I can only stare at it. Costs a bomb like 200 plus for one small wallet la! It really is a damn nice wallet. So to satisfy my craving, I went online (yes again) to check and found some replicas of the Agnes b wallets that are quite nice :) Sprees opened till 4th April so yea now I am still thinking if I should get myself one! All are priced only at 20 plus bucks! :) :)

This metallic pink and gold wallet is one of my favorites. :)

This long sweet pink wallet is also another favorite!

Now I am torn between the two wallets. Definitely will get one for myself. :)
