:)
I gave my post a smile because I had been graded A for my Industrial Attachment! To think I had complained so much in my previous post but in the end I had did extremely well! I am so so so happy about my achievement.
And because of that, I feel that I have the motivation to move on in my studies now. I am attending every lectures that I have and trying very very hard to absorb the stuffs taught in school. I also make it a point to do my tutorials on time and try to read up my notes before I attend the lecture. It may seem normal to all of you but it's a great deal to me, because somehow or rather I will always tend to skip lectures. Now even if I know there's online lectures, I still insist on going school to attend the classes. Another smile from me. :)
Next, my timetable is finally finalized! After much thinking, I have decided to take up one elective this semester.. Something I dont really like about this elective is that there's this assignment that I have to do, and the exam format is 4 essay questions. As such, I guess S/U option is the only way out. Haha. I shall see how la. Here's my timetable schedule! The pink shaded one is tuition.
Headed down to Minds Cafe for a 3 hours game with Rik yesterday. Of course the only reason why we went there is because we had a $10 voucher to spare. Lol. I guess fumin and weijing have already forgotten they had this voucher too. After which, we took a bus down to Chinatown in the evening. Brought him around the area and we shopped at the pasar-malam. Luckily there wasnt really a lot of people since it's still rather early. Then as the night falls, we came across this street - Club street that really sell antique stuffs and vintage clothings. There is this particular book shop that I like. It's a three story high shop house, very very vintage type and it sells all types of books, note books, vintage paper, antiques like typewriters, toys , gummy balls etc. I was very very very very tempted to buy the notebooks they had there and some of the real antique books they sell there. But the prices are more on the steep side. So yea, in the end we didnt buy anything there. Really really loved that place to bits! Smile from me :)
Well, not many people might know.. but I had a thing for old stuffs. That's why I like to go to museums and chinatown area. Should really find one day and take a slow walk there. I LOVE IT!!
After which we had our dinner at Jerry's BBQ and Grill, which was also located at Club Street. Vintage shophouse again. Located at one of the most trendy streets of Singapore, Jerry's is in a very quaint 3-storey pre-war storehouse. The ambience there is very nice and there were quite a few ang mohs. I ordered Grilled Pacific Dory Fish Fillet whereas Rik ordered Barbequed Pork - The Pulled Pork. Both were damn nice and I highly recommend Jerry's. But be prepared to pay more. Hahaa. Another smile from me :)
*I love outing day with dear.
Here's the place!
