It's another weekly affair with boy! Sorry for the short break away from updating my blog as I have been real busy, haven't been replying Formspring regularly too and hence missed out on some questions regarding backorders. So sorry!
Anyway, I stayed over on boy's place on one of the weekdays because I am rushing for a short report regarding my findings for FYP and need his help to teach me how to draw graphs using Excel. -.- Noob right? He asked me how did I ever become an engineer without knowing the basics of drawing graphs using Excel. I answered him I never wanted to. Lol!
Boy checking his email first before I can use his laptop!
So while he was sleeping as he needs to work the next day, I was at his laptop with the table lamp on and trying to get the graphs right. At the same time, I drank my Red Bull to keep myself awake. It was 4am in the morning before I finally hit the sack after I completed my last graph and came up with some conclusions. Slept until 9am in the morning and made my way out of his place after that to meet Selina for her purchases and then down to manufacturer for sample viewing. The sample I had viewed was gorgeous, the piece that I have been most satisfied with so far. Even Joanne was telling me she loves this dress and is intending to wear it to Thailand! So mad excited about sharing the photos :)
Bad news was that there might be a slight delay in our next next launch as Joanne's schedule is currently fully booked till end April.. which means I might have to find other alternatives to bring in apparels so that our customers do not have to wait that for our next launch. Will see what I can do then!
Weekly affair with boy on saturday was at Suntec Convention Centre. For? Purchasing of my first ever DSLR Camera! Canon EOS 550D! Mad mad excited after buying it at quite a reasonable price. Total $1678 for additional 2 years warranty and upgrade lenses to 105mm! Comes with tripod, 2 8GB memory card, 1 card reader, 1 dry cabinet, 1 Canon bag, 1 LCD screen protector as well as free manuals! I think it sounds like a good deal? As there was quite a number of things to carry, we had to head back home instead of walking around. Before that, we had our dinner at Carl's Junior. My first time eating at Carl's Junior, the serving was really big. In fact it was too much for me I couldn't finish it! I prefer Macdonald's though :)
Finally digged something colorful out of my wardrobe to wear!
While waiting for him to buy us our food..Women's nature take its course!
Boy enjoying his burger
Candid Shot
The really huge burger!
Boy did all the checking and arranging of the stuffs for me. He is a very very meticulous and organised person. Imagine someone who keeps tallying the time on his blackberry to the time on his watch to make sure that every second matches. Just imagine!
A very happy me :) Had a pimple breakout though!
Our loots!
Canon EOS 550D! :)
Boy arranging the things for me while I played around with the DSLR. This was taken using the DSLR.
This was taken using my iphone. See the difference?
My messy place!
Sunday was as usual, tuition at tutees' place. After which, brother came to fetch me and off we went to Spring Court at Far East Square for pre-birthday celebration for Mummy. The ambience and food there was really good I think. Didn't manage to take photos because my family members are camera shy. Lol!
Mummy and Daddy! I love them.
Headed down to Cityhall to meet boy again. Went to the arcade to play guitar heroes and drum heroes until we sort of got addicted to it. Haha! Our movie was at 9.30pm and so we had a long period of time before the show starts. Walked around and I bought him a watch as well as one for my mum. Our dinner was settled at Pho Hoa, my favorite Vietnamese place at Suntec City! Ordered a super big Chicken Pho and it was really delicious. A must try delicacy! :)
The watch i bought him!
There! My super big bowl of Chicken Pho, and his Grilled Chicken Rice!
I looked like I am grumpy?
After a hearty dinner, it was dessert time. Boy had cravings for snow ice flakes and so we went to this newly opened small shop at esplanade link - Sweet Sweet Tooth.
The chocolate snow shavings we ordered! It was great but the mango one would have tasted much better :)
It was home sweet home after our movie ended at 11.30pm. Did some last minute checks on the Lafemmedabelle launch and then off to bed!
