It has been a good 3 months since I met Selina and just this week alone, I have met her for 2 consecutive days! I really envy her that she is able to have such good career prospects ahead.
Anyway, we met up for lunch at Swensens and had a good 2 hours talk and gossips. Lol. And finally I am able to get rid of the items she reserved from me since eons ago! No photos for the day because I forgot to take haha.
The next day was accompanying her for her Gelish manicure at Shanice's. She was very amazed the Gelish will not chip nor peel off and can only be removed by special solution! Hahaa.
Totally cannot be bothered to smack on make up!
At Sharice's, with the red hot color which I love!
She did the ladybird look alike nail art, a mixture of white and black dots which I have never seen before. I insisted that white dots look nicer but this woman requested for a mix! Looks nice still! :)
After the manicure, we took a bus down to Northpoint to continue our chatting session at Starbucks!
We chatted so much on personal stuffs, friends, bfs, work, and the very funny events that happened when we took part in the Freshman Orientation Camp 4 years ago. And even dating back to JC times where some unhappy stuffs happened back then. Come to think of it, everything is already in the past and it just seemed like yesterday. Time really flies and we have all grown up, stepping into the working industry. I was even telling Selina that I bet 3 to 5 years down the road, we will sure be attending a lot of wedding dinners by our close friends because that is when we are all of suitable marriageable ages, ready to start a family.
Looking back, we have come thus far. It definitely was not easy to be born in the year of Dragon, much more to climb all the way up to local universities. There was really strong competition everywhere, and we have braved it all, passed all and come to where we are now. We were not born smart, neither were we intelligent. It really requires a lot of hard work, shed a lot of tears to be where we are now. I am very proud of myself and to my bunch of friends who have made it, because it is not easy. Not everyone can do it, but you guys did.
Congratulations to all who made it! :)
