Singapore Food Trail!

I have no idea how many times have I been to the Singapore Food Trail but I can never describe how much I love it there! Even boy had cravings for this barely one week after we went there lol! I have to admit I love antique and olden stuffs, and they are worth the memories thinking back about the life that people used to live in the 1950s and 1960s. I grew up listening to loads of stories about the olden days by my parents - like how a bowl of bak chor mee and carrot cake only cost 20cents back then, and sweets at only 2cents and 5cents. And how they used to be lowering the basket down from the shopfloors above to collect their food. These really interest me a lot and that is how I grew to like the oldies.

Boy and I love it so much we even had an idea that might be able to work! After his calculation it would really require a lot of monetary investments to be made as it involves dealing with properties and the risk is quite high, but if it works out well then that would be a really successful investment!

You will know why I love the Singapore Food Trail so much when you read below! :)

An introduction to the Singapore Food Trail!
 Olden days movie poster!

Then we were greeted by these hawker stalls which really resembles the olden days!

And if you notice, they made these whole place looked like a street. Spot the yellow double lines on the floor/road! That's how the roadside hawkers used to be last time.

Really crowded!

And there's also some kind of exhibition for people to see.

Old school typewriter!

DJ Box where you slot in money for the song you would like to listen!

It's really fantastic that they made this whole place look like a road street. There's even road names. Boy and I were seated in between Hill Street and North Bridge Road lol!

From what I know, these hawkers over here are real hawkers specially being invited to move their operations here to feature the real Singapore food.
Boy and I ordered some food to fill our stomach.

Oyster Omelette!

Fried Kway Teow!

Bak Chor Mee!

Boy's favorite Satay!

Favorite Wham Poh Ngoh Hiang!

So much for the 2 of us lol!

The food taste really good - Authentic Singaporean food. The price a tad expensive though but it's worth it trust me! :)

Singapore Food Trail is located at Singapore Flyer so try the food there now if you have not!

*Bangkok posts to be up this week!
