Photoshoot with Zoe!

It's another fortnightly thingy with Zoe - Photoshoot! :) Photoshoots have been much more frequent now as compared to previously, which means lesser time for school work! Piles and piles of work stacking up.

I was on my way to the studio when someone tapped me on my shoulders real hard and I got a scare. It was Zoe. Initially the first thought that went to my mind was "Oh my.. how am I going to talk to her?" Because the previous shoots we work on together we had like less than 10 lines of conversation each time we meet? Surprisingly, this time round was much much much better. We had a good chat over photoshoots, her work, my boy etc. Everything under the sun and I was quite surprised too! The whole feeling was so much different from the previous ones I have had. Weird! But still, this was one of the most enjoyable shoots I have had.

The quality of the studio shoot was quite bad this time round. The skin color looks too pale and some of the items are not true to the real color at all. Then I decided to go back to Hendra's studio for my next shoot onwards. Pay a little more to get better quality, why not?

Preview! :)

People in formspring have been asking about the better deal regarding nail extensions. Shall share it with you girls here :)

It's The Nail Pageant at Dhoby Exchange. They are currently having a 50% promotion for all gel nails. Their gel nails costs $100 - $120 normal price so after the promotion, it will only cost $50! To add on glitters, it will cost an additional $10 :)) Mad worth it!

Weekend dates & Meeting with Joanne!

It's once in a week weekend dates with boy again! So excited whenever it's Thursday or Fridays because that would mean one or two more days to seeing boy! :)

Friday was spent having a nice dinner and a nice movie at The Cathay. Dinner was great. We had the premium dinner set at $23.90+ each for the both of us and the food was good. My treat to dear because I am in a good mood. Haha!

Chrysanthemum Dory Fish with Tar Tar Sauce!

Boy told me that all his photos looked ugly so I told him to pose something nicer. And this was his best pose.

Then he took my phone away and began snapping away, at himself!

The candid one which he took of me. Hahaha my typical face!

Saturday was spent first at Joanne's office, where I paid for and collect my goods for my next collection. I managed to see the sample piece of the latest design I had submitted and was very satisfied with it. It's a top this time round, quite a unique one me think! Gonna manufacture it in white, navy and dusty pink if Joanne managed to find the color I want overseas. So excited to see it in all these colors. Want a little preview? Here you go!

The design which I submitted to Joanne, omitting the prints.

The second design which I showed her on the day I met her! Tube dress to be made of spandex, with the length shorter! :)

I know my drawing sucks LOL

Close-up

Had a good time gossiping with Joanne over something. At least someone to share the same sentiments as me! Headed down SingPost right after to mail out all the parcels. The third batch!

The third batch of parcels to be mailed out

Boy!

Then we headed down to Junction 8 to purchase office wear at G2000 since boy has got a $50 off using his card. Spent a bomb there and I must say office wear is soooo muchhhh expensive! :(

I got myself 2 pieces of tops, one formal and one casual while boy had 3 formal tops which I thought was nice.

Paying for the items

$50 off yay!

Went back his house right after cuz I am way too tired. Lack of sleep!

While on the way back, I wanted to throw my lenses away because it's getting very dry and I had no solution with me. So boy suggested that I took one lens out and leave the other one on. Looks really ridiculous and he told me it was a huge difference with and without lenses!

Pardon my red face. I have no idea why it turns out so red in the photos!

The huge difference!

Threw away my lenses after that. I had just ordered the brown one and waiting for its arrival 1st week of April! :)

Photoshoot tomorrow so shall turn in early tonight, and wake up early tomorrow to study for another upcoming quiz!

Random

For these 2 days, I have been working till 3.30am in the night sending invoices, verifying payments, packing and doing stock takes for parcels and items. It was really not easy, especially when I have to personally write small little notes for every single customer who bought from LFDB! But putting that aside, I am happy busying myself with these :)

The 1st batch of parcels to mail out! Still more to go!

For the first time in these 3 months, boy finally came over to my house after his work! He has been so busy with work that I think he has become a work slave. And then hearing him talk about work stuffs just make me feel like being a teacher even more! :(

Did I mention that he's super addicted to my iphone games now? Now he is into Zombie Cafe now, and 80% of the time when we were out he was holding on to my phone checking on his Zombie Cafe!

Checking on his emails..

Anyway, I went to the library today to print some notes and guess what I saw.. THIS!

It's funny how undergraduates can get their way up and stuff in newspapers to the air-con source, just to stop the cool air from coming out? They should have realise that though this might stop the cool air from directly blowing at them, the temperature would still be the same!

A sign of undergraduates getting bonkers?? Maybe. LOL!

I bought myself a pair of slippers, again! Like what boy said, this is the 2nd pair of slippers I have in just 1 month! Hahaa love this color combination. Bought this for only $13.50 at Marina Square, and it's mad comfy, just like iPanema and Haviannas! The good thing is, you can choose the color combination yourself, meaning you can choose the color of the sole and the straps, and they will put in the straps for you! :)

I chose pink and black. Safe combination I think!

On a side note, I caught this photo on my iphone.. So cute!

Muffin and Daddy sleeping side by side! :)

For readers who are LFDB customers, thanks for the overwhelming support for the 'Princess Diary' launched! Many have requested for backorders to open. It might be a little hard, but I will try! :)

Weekend dates with Boy!

Boy told me since I have got readers following my blog, I should blog more often. I hope I can too, but I am getting really busy these days :(

Anyway, as some have asked me in Form Spring regarding how frequent do I meet my boy, my answer is that I only get to meet him during weekends. And I have make it a point to try to push all my appointments or school work to weekdays so that I can have a nice weekend with him since that's the only time I have with him and he has with me. I believe it is about compromising with each other that keeps a relationship going. We don't usually smsed each other every day or chat on the phone. In fact, believe it or not, we have less than 5 smses during the 5 weekdays in a week and we do not even chat on the phone anymore. Hard to believe how our relationship can be maintained this way? Haha. It all boils down to mutual understanding I guess :)

So I have just returned home from my weekend dates with boy. Saturday was spent at his place studying for my quiz, and him doing the photoshops for my upcoming launch for LFDB. It was funny when he was cursing and swearing while doing the photoshops for some reason which I shall not say here. Then we headed down to Causeway Point to catch a movie - World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles. I thought this movie was great! Simple day makes my day!

The quiz which I hated so much!

Sunday's date was right after my 4.5 hours of tuition with my tutees. Headed down town to catch yet another movie - Gnomeo and Juliet. Boy heard from his friends that this show was a must-watch but in my opinion, I thought it was a little too childish for me. But if you are someone who likes cartoons, this one might suit you! :)

Dinner was at Singapore Flyer where there was this Singapore Food Trail. Reminds me of what I have read and seen those photos of the hawker stalls in the olden times. A very interesting concept! We shall let photos do the talking!

My fishball noodles and boy's hokkien mee. Together with the oyster omelette

Their ice kachang ball, with the fillings inside!

That's how the stalls looked like!

The very old school container tins and carbonated drinks in glass bottles!

Boy playing guitar hero which I really suck at! :(

Quite a few of people are asking me in FS about the GEO lenses I am using, so I thought I shall make it a post here. I am using the Super Angel Series XCM-215 (Grey) and XCM-214 (Brown). Both are 14.8mm! The recommended duration that the contacts can be worn is 1 year but I would suggest that the contacts be changed every 1 month. This is for hygiene purpose so do take care of your eyes before you regret!

These lenses can be found from Tz Collections and if you purchase 3 pairs of GEO contacts, each pair will only be priced at $10, so it's mad affordable! :)

I will be getting their new Xtra series which is in 15mm!

Pictures time of how the lenses made my eyes bigger!

After!

See the difference in the pupils? Supper addicted to it now!

Gel Nail Extensions!

For the past few days, I have been wanting to make a trip down to a home-based nail salon that I have found for manicure - Gel Sculptured Nail Extensions! I have decided to make an appointment next week with the lady for my manicure! Mad happy and excited at the same time :))

Showed boy some designs that I like and guess which one he prefers?

I love the pastel colors!

This one was the design I had chosen initially

Then I saw this which immediately caught my eyes!

Boy chose the third design with the pinkish glitter. After much thought, I find that it might be more suitable for me too since the pastel one is too cutesy for me. Haha! Besides, I will be going for interviews real soon so it would be better to beautify my nails a little but at the same time in a more proper color and design! :)

Total damage?

$85!

How long can it last?

I heard from the manicurist it was 3 to 4 weeks. We shall see after I have done mine, considered that I am not the most gentle girl. Lol!

Haircut at Von's and Studio Shoot with Zoe Raymond!

Today was a really busy and tiring day for me. Slept at half past 2am yesterday and had to wake up at 8am today to study for my upcoming quiz on Monday. I still have one more stack of notes to go! :(

Then in the early afternoon, I headed down to town and accompany Selina for a haircut at Estique. I read somewhere that this senior hairstylist by the name of Von was quite good and hence recommended him to Sel as she wanted to cut her hair short. Short! Brave of her! But the end result was great, in fact I feel that it suits her more and she looks much fresher and younger! Glad she loves her new hair style too! :)

During the hair cut, with Von

After!

As Zoe was just nearby doing her nails, she met up with us at Von's. Von took quite long to cut Sel's hair so Zoe and I cabbed our way down to the studio first, which was just nearby. It was my first time using a DSLR and I was really worried that the photos would turn out bad! But I am relieved it turned out quite okay, and am so proud of myself. I could be a professional photographer in future! Haha!

My very first try, when I still did not know how to zoom in!

Then subsequently, I got the hang of it :))

Zoe looking great!

A little preview of one of our self-manufactured pieces!

The studio's quite small though!

As there was still some time left, Sel came in to "model" as well. Lol! Eat more!!

Sel with a fresher look

Then she says she looks better with poses that are not standing upright

Pardon the sheerness of the dress. This is a sample piece and I have requested to my manufacturer that double lining has to be added for this dress.

Camwhoring in the fitting room while waiting for the photos to be uploaded into my thumbdrive

Ended the day by meeting up with my customer to pass her the items she bought. Tired!!!
