Korean Dinner at MBS!

I'm back from my trip to Bangkok! There has been quite a bit of bumps preparing for this trip due to the flooding in Bangkok. Boy was totally anxious over it and many a times we were considering of rescheduling this trip or changing the destination. Few days before we went, things got a little better and we finally decided to go ahead as planned. We reached Bangkok with a lot of uncertainties but was surprised to see that everything is all well and fine! The airport is running as usual, cars aplenty and shopping centres, roadside stalls and night markets operating fine. Probably the only difference we saw is that there are sandbags everywhere, as a prevention. Parents and friends kept messaging me to ask us whether we are okay there as Singapore news reported the situation to be really bad. But everything's fine there and in fact it was so sunny! Thanks to all who care! :)

Shall blog more about my 5 days in Bkk soon! Loads of photos to filter lol.

-----------
The day before we left for Bangkok, we had dinner with Boy's family as one of his relatives had arrived on a trip in Singapore. His mum booked a private room at Hangoga at MBS. It's a Korean Grill restaurant!

We had to cab there because we thought we were going to be late! But we were actually the first to arrive -.-

The menu. Really expensive food!

Boy had to attend to a call and I camwhored a little lol!

The exterior and interior setting of Hangoga.

A small little chit-chatting session, though most of the time I do not understand what they were talking about lol!

Then the food came, we had pork belly for grill and Bimbimbab as our main! The marinated pork belly costs like $30 for only 8 small slices! But it was really good.

Having an early flight to catch the next day, we left home early so that we can pack our luggage and have a good night rest! :)

Erikokoh!

Sometimes, it can be really hard to think that you will be wearing the same old plain dress out. So why not play around with colors? Colors do wonders, and believe it or not they do lift one's spirits up!

Look what I received in my mailbox just two days ago?

Graduation Photoshoot!

I know this is a super backdated post. Lol! And this is going to be a super duper long post with loads of photos.

Somewhere in September, the peeps from AJ Class of 30/05 gathered together for a graduation photoshoot. It only consist of all the 7 ladies as the guys are still in their Year 3!

We started off by meeting at AJC itself - the place where we first met and became good friends ever since.

Doing the preparation!

Introduction to photographers!
Weather's really scorching hot on the day itself and we felt like were were melting in our gowns!
AJ Stadium - where we spent 2 years with loads of fun here.

Then we drove over to Sentosa, our second stop. By the time we were at Sentosa, most of us were already mad tired!

Imitating fumin's favorite pose. Lol!!
Boy made me do jump shots!
And the typical "throwing hats" pose that all grads must do!

 Group jump shots!
We got too tired that we had to sit down, in the middle of the parade and everyone was watching us. Gosh!

Soon it was dinner time! We had a birthday girl with us so boy made a reservation at Mussel Guys for us to celebrate Si Xuan's birthday. This is my second time to Mussel Guys and I really love the food there. Especially the mussels!

3rd stop - The Promontory. This is where we had our night shoot. Super nice view of the Marina Bay Sands from here!

Boy did not manage to take much of the night shoot because I think he's too tired to. Lol! The official graduation shoot photos will only be given to us in November/December! These are only the small little snippets on what goes on behind the scene. :)

There were times whereby some conflict arises due to a difference in opinions for this photoshoot, so much so the event was almost cancelled. But I am really glad we managed to sort it all out and it turned out to be a success! As for me, I really enjoyed myself even though I had blisters after too much of walking on heels! :)
